In this April 19, 2007 interview, "Evidence of Harm" author David Kirby sits down with Katie Wright, daughter to Autism Speaks' founders Bob and Suzanne Wright and mother to Christian Hildebrand, a 4 year old autistic boy. In their talk, Katie discusses her family's experiences with autism -- from the onset of Christian's symptoms to their search for the therapies and interventions that have helped him to begin the path toward recovery. Also discussed are Katie's opinions on vaccine injury and causation, as well as insights on the organization her parents founded, Autism Speaks.

The late Dr. Bernard Rimland was a research psychologist (Ph.D.). and Director Of the Autism Research Institute, which he founded in 1967. He was also the founder of the Autism Society of America (1965), and the editor of the Autism Research Review International. His book, Infantile Autism: The Syndrome and Its Implication for a Neural Theory of Behavior (1964) is widely credited with changing the field of psychiatry from its claim that autism is an emotional illness, caused by destructive mothers, to its current recognition that autism is a biological disorder. He has lectured on autism and related problems throughout the world, and is author of numerous publications. He served as primary technical advisor on autism for the film Rain Man.
Dr. Rimland passed away on November 21, 2006.
This interview was filmed in September of 2004 at the Autism Society of America's conference "Racing for Answers in Autism" in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Autism: A Unique Form of Mercury Poisoning? David Ayoub, M.D.
Dr Ayoub is a board-certified radiologist and associate professor at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springflield Illinois. He has devoted a great deal of his professional time with issues regarding vaccine safety. He has lectured at numerous autism conferences and testified in legislative hearings in several states. He is coauthor of "Influenza Vaccine in Pregnancy; Critical assessment of the Recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices", published in the Amercican Journal of Physicians and Surgeons, Summer 2006. He is currently working on several research projects regarding the link of thimerosal to autism and other conditions.
This lecture was filmed in April, 2006 at the Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. In it, Dr. Ayoub discusses the mercury-based preservative (thimerosal) in vaccines and its connection with autism. Dr. Ayoub spends considerable time dispelling the flawed epidemiology and bad science used by national health agencies intended to prove thimerosal's safety.
