• The Vaccine-Autism Connection (35 videos)
Although a vaccine-autism connection has been dismissed repeatedly in the current media, scientific studies that are based on (clinical) biological processes show a significant link.
• Heavy Metal Toxicity in Autism (22 videos)
Contributing to the greatest number of RECOVERED autistic children (when coupled with good nutrition), Metal detoxification appears to be a major piece of the puzzle for autism. Also discussed are complications related to mercury toxicity, such as impaired methylation and oxidative stress, etc.

Also, Good nutrition will help any human to fight viruses and bacteria, and repair damage done by the environment. This is no exception for autistic people.

The majority of autistic children tested have skewed immune responses. From autoimmunity to brain protein to chronic IgA deficiencies, these children do not react to viruses, toxins or even foods as a regular functioning person would.

Research explaining the internal medical issues that accompany autism, are not in the hands of most primary care physicians who work with the children. We hope to bring this information to medical professionals and parents, and encourage more research in this area. We also hope this can direct medical professionals to understand test results already taken, or help these professionals chose tests that might shed light on medical issues of a particular child with autism symptoms. Included with these video presentations are links to download the published papers written on the featured studies.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy & Mild Hyperbarics (15 videos)
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) refers to intermittent treatment of the entire body with 100-percent oxygen at greater than normal atmospheric pressures. Mild Hyperbarics (mHBOT) uses increased air pressure (instead of pure oxygen) to deliver additional oxygen to the bloodstream and tissues. Hyperbaric therapy is increasingly being used to realize benefits in children with Autism spectrum disorders because of its ability to deliver greater oxygen to the brain and vital organs and stimulate tissue regeneration. With autistics, hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatment has been known to improve verbal communication, direct eye contact, reasoning ability, motor skills, balance, attention, and reduce aggressive behavior.
• Evidence of Harm (28 videos)
Author David Kirby's new book, "Evidence of Harm, Mercury in Vaccines and the Autism Epidemic: A Medical Controversy" "explores the heated controversy over what many parents, physicians, public officials and educators have called an "epidemic" of afflicted children" and the chilling possibility that the vaccine preservative known as "thimerosal," containing nearly 50% organic mercury, may be a key causative factor in Autism Spectrum Disorders. This video gallery will feature interviews with key figures mentioned in the book, as well as with its author, David Kirby. • Educational & Sensory Issues in Autism (28 videos)
This gallery will feature interviews involving educational issues of concern to parents who are struggling to provide the best quality education for their children with autism, as well as the sensory issues that often play a role in disrupting the best of educational plans.Individual Education Plans can be a stressful time for parents trying to understand their rights, while obtaining an adequate educational program for their child’s special needs. Having legal information and experience from experts will help parents to better understand the process. Areas such as understanding your rights, negotiation, functional behavioral assessments, due process hearings and mediation will be addressed.
Sensory Integration Dysfunction is also a key educational component that is often overlooked or understated. Understanding how sensory issues play a vital role in behavior, attention, mood modulation, and self regulation can often be determining factors in a successful educational plan. Addressing sensory needs provides an opportunity for many children with disruptive behavior issues to function successfully in a mainstreamed setting. This is an area you don’t want to miss!
• Emergency First Responder Training in Autism (3 videos)
Research indicates that persons with autism and other developmental disabilities are approximately seven times more likely to come in contact with law enforcement professionals than a member of the general population. Law enforcement professionals will have field interactions with children and adults with autism, their parents and care providers. Autism Recognition, Response and Risk Management training sessions are designed help officers make these interactions safer, less stressful and more informed.

• Wandering Prevention in Autism (1 video)
FAIR Autism Media is gravely concerned about the safety issues surrounding wandering (elopement) in the autism community, and the many tragedies that have occurred where autistic children have died due to drownings, exposure to the elements or accidents and abduction. This video gallery will grow as we collect interviews and resources to help spread awareness of the problem and the countermeasures that parents, caregivers and communities can enact to prevent elopement and tragedy..Special thanks go to Autism One, the Autism Research Institute and the Autism Society of America, the National Autism Association and Generation Rescue for their gracious hospitality and assistance in making these interviews possible. New videos are added several times a year (as we attend more Autism conferences, etc.) so be sure to check the site again in the near future for additional content!
